The VDK Groep is acquiring Bos Installatietechniek from Putten. With this move, the Zwolle-based company reinforces its position as market leader in the installation technology sector in the Netherlands.
Bos Installatietechniek is a recognised specialist in installation technology and sustainable energy. The company from Putten, Gelderland, has been active in installation technology since 1950 and will collaborate closely with Blankespoor Putten, also part of the VDK Groep. Together, their combined knowledge and experience mark a significant step forward in the region.
With over 75 years of experience, Bos Installatietechniek offers a complete package for new construction, renovation and utility projects. In addition to installation work, the company provides a professional service department to support its customers. Sustainability is a key component of Bos Installatietechniek's services, with in-house expertise in solar panels, (hybrid) boilers and heat pumps. The company's premises in Putten also feature an extensive showroom displaying sustainable products.
In 2020, the management of Bos Installatietechniek was expanded with the addition of Jan van Asselt, who had already been with the company for nearly 20 years. This step allowed directors Evert and Diane Bos to safeguard the continuity and innovative capacity of the business. Now the time has come to take the next step. Evert Bos: "I am the second generation of 'Bos' in the company, having taken over from my father in 1992. It is my responsibility to prepare the business for the future and to secure employment for our nearly 30 employees. Joining the strong VDK Groep is therefore the best choice for us."
Frans van der Kolk, CEO and founder of the VDK Groep: "With the acquisition of Bos Installatietechniek, we are continuing our growth strategy and strengthening our presence in Gelderland. I look forward to welcoming nearly 30 new colleagues and wish Jan, Evert and Diane every success and enjoyment as part of the VDK Groep."
