The VDK Groep takes a strategic step in its international growth with the acquisition of Elektro-Anlagenbau GmbH Neustrelitz (EAN), a renowned electrical engineering company serving the business market in northeastern Germany. This acquisition marks VDK Groep’s expansion in the German market and strengthens its position in Europe.
Expertise in both residential and commercial sectors
EAN, based in Neustrelitz (just over 100 km north of Berlin, in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), employs around 80 people and offers a wide range of electrical engineering services, including:
Electrical installations from 1 kV to 20 kV
Switchgear and control panel construction
Building automation (KNX)
Security technology
Communication systems
Smart Home & Smart Building solutions
Planning, installation, maintenance and inspections
History and company culture
In 2025, EAN celebrates its 75th anniversary, reflecting decades of experience in the German installation sector. The company is known for its reliable and innovative solutions, with a strong focus on quality, sustainability and the development of its employees. Under the leadership of Dr. Nicole Landt, EAN has received multiple employer awards, including 'Employer of the Future' and finalist for the ‘Großer Preis des Mittelstandes’.
